We will search the woods and fields for useful materials - sunflowers, vine leaves, fig leaves, olive branches, poppies, fossils and more - before getting down to creative business! Children will be encouraged to learn simple Italian words.
We can spend anything from two hours to an entire day making artistic creations, learning a bit of Italian and taking some exercise. We can go on a mini 'hike' with knapsacks and a picnic; we can organise a treasure hunt with clues in Italian and we can do some basic fun yoga.
PIZZA MAKING (and eating!).
If there is a wood oven where you are staying, we can spend an afternoon making pizza. Children can mix the dough, knead it and wait for it to rise. They can have the fun creating their own personal pizza with whichever chosen toppings…… There will be no need to cook supper! |
